First launch needs one OK (not code-signed yet): macOS → right-click ▸ Open · Windows → “More info ▸ Run anyway”.
Install it (30 seconds)
It isn’t code-signed yet, so the first launch needs one confirmation — normal for a small indie app. After that it updates itself.
macOS — drag to Applications, then right-click ▸ Open
Open Awaitlight_1.1.0_aarch64.dmg, drag the app to Applications, then right-click Awaitlight ▸ Open and confirm once. Double-click as usual after that.
Windows — run the installer; if SmartScreen warns, “More info ▸ Run anyway”
Double-click Awaitlight_1.1.0_x64-setup.exe. If Windows shows a blue “protected your PC” box, click More info ▸ Run anyway — that’s just because it isn’t signed yet.
Set up the phone display
Once the app is running, point a spare phone at it. The phone never installs anything — it just shows a live web page on your local network.
Open the app on your computer
Launch Awaitlight on the same Mac your agents run on. It starts the local service automatically — 100% local, nothing leaves your machine.
Open the address on a spare phone
Put the phone on the same Wi-Fi, scan the QR code in the app (or type the address) in your browser, and rotate to landscape. Your agents’ status lights up instantly.
Bookmark it to your home screen
In your phone’s browser, add the page to your bookmarks and save it to the home screen. One tap reopens the live display, full-screen.
Tips
Same networkPhone and computer must share the same Wi-Fi for the phone to reach the display.
Keep it litAwaitlight keeps the screen awake on its own, so the status stays visible while you work.
